What are the limits of my Position Tracking campaign?
A Position Tracking campaign refers to a specific setup within an SEO Project—it combines the selected search engine, location, device, and language settings used to track keyword performance. Depending on the level of your Semrush SEO toolkit plan, you will have limits on the number of keywords you can track and the number of extra devices and locations tracked in your project.
Keyword tracking limits
- Without SEO Toolkit: 1 Project, 10 total keywords
- SEO Pro: 5 Projects, 500 total keywords
- SEO Guru: 15 Projects, 1500 total keywords
- SEO Business: 40 Projects, 5000 total keywords
Total number of competitors able to track
All SEO Toolkit levels can track up to 20 competitors per Position Tracking campaign. Across all campaigns, you can track:
- Without the SEO Toolkit: up to 20 competitors in total
- SEO Pro: up to 100 competitors
- SEO Guru: up to 3,000 competitors
- SEO Business: up to 4 million competitors
Multitargeting with added devices and locations
- Without the SEO Toolkit: not available
- SEO Pro: not available
- SEO Guru: 10 different devices/locations per project
- SEO Business: 5000 different devices/locations per project
When you use multitargeting, you will be able to add new keywords to track for each location/device variation you create. Every keyword you add to each location will count toward your overall keyword limit, even if you’re already tracking that keyword for another location.
You can manage the units across the users on your account from the User Management area of your Semrush profile.
